September Member of the Month: Ryan Schultz

Our September Member of the Month is Ryan Schultz!    In a true embodiment of the spirit of community here at 100state, this architect volunteered his time to help us draw up the plans for some exciting renovations to the space.   And boy… New walls have never looked so good.  His knowledge, and more importantly patience, for the world of construction deserves an award all of its own.  But, for now, a blog post will have to do.  Learn more about Ryan below!

Occupation:

Architect – Opening Design

What motivates you?

Finding a better, more efficient way. Questioning conventional wisdom.

Why do you work out of a coworking space? And more importantly, why 100state?

Being surrounded by different perspectives.

More importantly, why 100state?

You, you and you… yes you too.

Who do you look at as a role model and why?

Scientists, in general. We are at our best when scientists make discoveries. Have you ever seen how galvanizing a moon landing was, or a successful mars rover landing?

What is your favorite 100state memory?

Donning the cardboard crown.

What inspires you to keep going and pursue your dream?

Finding others, over time, that slowly join you in your dream.

When you’re not at 100state, where can you be found?

Enjoying Lake Kegonsa and my children….well sometimes.
