My work is inspired by the natural world. I start with an image and then modify that image to fit my aesthetic. Much of my work is also a response to difficulties and victories I’ve experienced over the course of my 53 years.

I come from a mixed race household. My father is Korean and my mother was white. My work reflects this with both eastern and western traditions informing the work. I’ve lived in the Madison area for most of my life. I live with my wife Amy and several pets.
