100state is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that was created to foster entrepreneurship in Madison, Wisconsin. Our mission is to create a home and community for entrepreneurs, problems solvers, and creatives. We provide equitable access to office space, entrepreneurial education for youth and adults, and support for local artists.
As a nonprofit, we depend on community support to:
– Provide equitable access for entrepreneurship in Madison.
We rely on the community to help us offset the costs of running our space and providing our ample resources to our membership which support the Madison community at large. This symbiotic relationship has been incredibly beneficial in growing both the 100state community as well as the Madison entrepreneur ecosystem. Donations fund general programming to all who seek a place to learn, to grow, and to build a better community.
– Providing educational programming to Madison entrepreneurs.
We work with the local businesses and nonprofits to provide workshops for the community, in our space. Supporters of 100state help maintain equitable access to all programming for both youth and adults. This includes technology boot camps, innovation hours, problem solving soirees, panel discussions, brainstorms, and more.
– Supporting local artists by providing studio space, artist-in-residence programs, and art exhibitions.
The 100arts program has been an integral part of 100state since its founding. Every year 100state works with dozens of local artists, ensuring that they have a way to show their work, and those using our space can be inspired by their talents. This initiative supports all forms of entrepreneurship and facilitates a visually engaging space that reflects the innovative community within it. Your support helps to fund our gallery and art studio, as well as the artistic pursuits of Madison entrepreneurs.
