Occupation:
President and Commercial Real Estate Broker at Lou Reed & Krugman LLC.
What motivates you?
Family is my biggest motivation in life, as we are about to have twins! In my professional life, seeing people happy with starting their next stage of life with a new home purchase, new business lease, or new investment opportunity is extremely fulfilling.
Why do you work out of a coworking space? And more importantly, why 100state?
I work out of a co-working space for the dynamic feeling of being in an office, yet seeing new and different faces every day. I love learning from other people’s experiences, and being in a space with so many different people is great! I chose 100state because it is a non-profit with a fantastic mission, everyone is very social, and the management is amazing! It’s also right downtown so it’s just a fun place to be.
Who do you look at as a role model and why?
In my personal life, my wife, hands down. She’s a career firefighter, an Air Force veteran, and soon to be the best mom ever. In my professional life, Elon Musk and Richard Branson. I have the utmost respect for someone who doesn’t follow the pack and isn’t afraid to take a leap to follow what they truly believe in.
What is your favorite 100state memory?
The week after I joined, 100state had an art exhibit. I thought it was just a little tiny event, but I got there and it was a real live art show with a DJ, live art creation, and a TON of people! I thought to myself, “Wow, my office is a museum too!”
When you’re not at 100state, where can you be found?
In the winter, you can usually find me on a chairlift at a local ski resort, and in the summer I’m either at my favorite fly-fishing spot (shhh, it’s a secret spot), or out on a mountain bike trail somewhere. Or sipping a nice cool beverage at the Memorial Union Terrace for a movie night.
