Born and raised in the small Lithuanian community of New Haven, CT., Daina attended a special high school for the arts and later graduated with a BFA in illustration from the Rhode Island School of Design.

She has been a freelance artist, illustrator, and art director in various locations, but is happiest in Madison, WI, creating art in her downtown workspace, “Lost Marble Studio”.

Here, Daina has focused on exploring spheres as her subject matter in watercolors, oil, acrylics, mixed media, and digital painting.

“Throughout my life, I have looked upon my art as therapy and an expression of my soul – it is with hope that my work is compelling enough to enrich others’ lives, even on the smallest of scales.”
