Beauty will save the world”, this quote by Dostoevsky is kept close to my heart whenever I paint. I paint women as spiritual beings, guardians of peace, witnesses of the true, unbreakable spirit that is the human soul.
I am a young person, only twenty-eight, but I carry within my soul an ancient, esoteric drive to create meaningful beauty. My lived experience is reflected in the eyes of the women I paint. I prefer to speak through pictures, rather than words, allowing my body of work to speak louder than text.
As an autodidact, I treasure my artistic practice, as I formed it through years of rigorous disciple and isolation. I travelled far and wide through books and museums to arrive at where I am as an artist. It is my objective to create new, original work that speaks to the soul of the human experience.
