Six years ago, a few entrepreneurs had an idea for a new kind of coworking space for Madison. What if instead of just a space to work, 100state could foster innovation through an engaged community that supported the work of the individual while collectively problem solving and actively expanding entrepreneurial potential of Madison.
After six years, we are starting to feel like we might be on to something. But rather than take our word for it, we thought we would take a moment to share some of the exciting things the 100state community has accomplished in the last six years.
Over 1,200 Community Events
From pitch sessions to community brainstorms, gallery openings to late night parties, 100state has created hundreds of unique community events and opened it’s doors to a total of 1,233 events.
Over 1000 Members
Over the years, 100state’s member community has continue to evolve and grow. Since inception, 100state has been a home to over 1,000 entrepreneurs, creatives, freelancers, remote workers, and problem solvers.
Company Growth
In that time, our members have been busy! Companies started at or primarily operated at 100state have expanded well beyond our walls to occupy over 56,000 sq. ft. in Madison and tens of thousands more square footage (that we know of) across the country.
Funding Raised
Most importantly, we are thrilled to see our members succeeding. Companies started and driven by members have gone on to raise over $74.9 million since 2013.
Since 2013, 100state has grown from an idea and an experiment into a central hub of Madison’s entrepreneur ecosystem. As we reflect on the successes and growth of this community, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the members, sponsors, and supporters who have been with us since day one and to everyone who have joined us along the way. There are still plenty of exciting projects on the horizon, so be sure to stay tuned for what’s next!
