Having lived around the world, Madison-based artist Kaylee Gund spent her formative years keenly aware of the connections built with others and the nuance of environment and light that shapes each of us. Focused primarily on oil and pastel portraits for the past six years, she remains fascinated by the idea that every human body is made up of countless unique tones and shades, and even more so by the colors we share.
