Hi everyone! My name is Emma and I’m from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I’m currently a senior at UW Madison studying Community and Nonprofit Leadership as well as French. I spent four months in Paris last year, and would love to chat with anyone who has done the same or would like to!
I’m graduating in May, so recently I’ve been looking into what I want to do afterwards. I would love to figure out a way to combine my love for french and nonprofits into a career, but in the meantime I’m hoping to work for a nonprofit that focuses on art and youth.
I started interning with 100state my sophomore year, after visiting as part of a project for an entrepreneurship class that I was in. I had never been to a coworking space before, and was immediately interested in it. I love the sense of community here, and how welcoming it feels. Outside of my time here, at work, and in class, I love going to live music shows with my friends, doing yoga, and telling everyone I meet how cute my dog is (I have plenty of pictures if you need proof). I’ve also started listening to true crime podcasts (Crime Junkie is a personal favorite) in an attempt to feel like I’m being more productive. I’m always looking for new ones to listen to so feel free to send me any recommendations!
I’m looking forward to seeing some familiar faces again, as well as meeting new members!
