Occupation:
Software Developer
What motivates you?
My teammates. I work on a great team full of really dedicated developers and knowing how hard they work makes it easy to put in the extra work.
Why do you work out of a co-working space? And more importantly, why 100state?
I work out of 100 State for the community. When looking for a space in Madison I visited a few other places but none of them seemed to have the outgoing atmosphere that 100 State offers. I have to admit I spend most of my time outside of work hanging out with other members.
Who do you look at as a role model and why?
It is cliche but my dad is my role model. He was the financial manager for Commonwealth Development in Madison for 26 years but he was able to create a great work/life balance. When I get stressed or feel like I have too much to get done I just try to find time to take a walk or do something for myself.
What is your favorite 100state memory?
Hands down best memory is winning bar trivia with the members of “Unattended Horse” .
What did you want to be when you grew up?
Growing up I wanted to be an astronaut. I studied physics in the hopes of going to space.
When you’re not at 100state, where can you be found?
Out on a run, or somewhere playing Magic the Gathering.
